The Bluffton Police Department provides citizens a means to instigate a formal investigation regarding a witnessed or alleged violation of constitutional or criminal law and all grievous violations of Departmental policies or procedures by any member of the Department. The Internal Affairs Section investigates and documents these investigations and forwards the findings to the Chief of Police for review and disciplinary decisions.
